Terms of use

Last updated:

By using this website or CuePoint, you agree to these terms. CuePoint is free, open-source software. It is provided as it is, under the license below.

Who these terms are from

The website and CuePoint are published by Stelios Vasileiou, as an individual. You can write to the publisher through the contact form.

The license

CuePoint and its source code are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The full text is in the LICENSE file in the repository, and in copies of the project. In short, it lets you use, copy, change and share CuePoint, under the conditions the license sets out.

The third-party libraries the app is built with have their own licenses. Their licenses and notices are in the repository and in each library's own package, and they are separate from CuePoint's own license.

Using CuePoint

  • You may use CuePoint on your own devices, for personal or commercial work.
  • Downloads come from the project's releases on GitHub. Each one is the app as published there, and its license is the one above.
  • When a feature uses an outside service, such as a Beatport lookup, you are also bound by that service's own terms and privacy policy.

Using this website

You may read, link to and share the pages of this site. Please do not use the site in a way that harms it or other visitors.

No warranty

For the software, Sections 7 (Disclaimer of Warranty) and 8 (Limitation of Liability) of the Apache License, Version 2.0 apply. In plain words: CuePoint is provided as it is, without promises that it will be free of errors, will run without interruption, or will suit any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk. Keep a copy of your Rekordbox collection before you work on it.

Limit of liability

For the software, Section 8 of the license sets the limit. For this website, to the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages that come from your use of the site.

Your data

CuePoint works on your computer, on your own library. What the site and the app collect, and how to turn it off, is in the privacy policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top says when they last changed. If you keep using CuePoint or the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
